Anticipating Brexit; Broekman Logistics creates additional Warehousing space at its Rotterdam locations

With a view to Brexit the specialist in complex value added logistic solutions, Broekman Logistics, anticipated on the early delivery of its new Venlo facilities to create additional Warehousing Space at its Maasvlakte, Europoort and Spijkenisse locations.

Due to the early opening of our new state-of-the-art Logistic Campus in Venlo, we have been able to relocate our customers ahead of schedule. This enables a better service to our customers through the intermodal connection with the hinterland and provided us with the opportunity to create the additional warehousing space for Brexit issues in the Port of Rotterdam, says Ron Kuijpers, Director Business Development at Broekman Logistics.

According to Kuijpers, customer requirements of up to 10 thousand pallets can be accommodated at the Broekman Logistics facilities in the port of Rotterdam.

Broekman Logistics also further strengthened is Customs and Trade Compliance team to cope with the rising demand for Brexit related services. “Although Brexit may still be a question to many, for our team it is crystal clear how to guide our customers through the turbulent times ahead,” says John Salemink, Manager Customs and Trade Compliance.

The official opening of the Logistic Campus in Venlo is scheduled for May 7th, 2019. This unique location is the first combined ADR/non-ADR storage in Venlo, with direct connections to the Rail and Barge Terminals. With its 64 thousand m2, the Campus is an important part of the half million m2 that Broekman Logistics offers to its clients in the deployment of its logistic value chain.
