Shipping & Port Agency

From our headquarters office in Rotterdam Broekman Shipping’s Port Tramp Agency acts as a local representative for shipping organisations and vessel owners in the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, IJmuiden, Terneuzen and Vlissingen. We provide similar services from a local office in the North of the Netherlands in the Eemshaven and port of Delfzijl. We are the intermediary between the owners of the vessel, local port authorities, customs officials, regulatory bodies and immigration.

We provide shipping agency services, cargo handling, coordination of custom authorities, customs clearance, operational vessel repair calls and assistance, bunkering, supplies and repairs, disposal, and operational- and crew assistance.

Each cargo shipment is unique and differs in type, destination, timing, regulations, documentation and handling. We understand the situation of our partners and the set of requirements every shipment has, which is why we provide customised solutions. We offer solutions for the following cargo segments:
