Broekman Logistics strengthens position in Belgian market as supply chain specialist with acquisition of IPSEN Logistics’ freight forwarding activities.
Broekman Logistics, the global supply chain solutions provider, headquartered in Rotterdam with branches covering logistics hotspots in South-Asia and North-western & Central Europe, announces the acquisition of the Belgian activities of Freight Forwarder Ipsen Logistics. With this acquisition , Broekman Logistics further reinforces its market leadership in full supply chain solutions in the Benelux area.
Following the acquisition of chemical warehousing activities in the Port of Antwerp, late 2018, Broekman Logistics further strengthens its position in the Belgian market by acquiring the freight forwarding activities of Ipsen Logistics. Ipsen Logistics is a full-service freight forwarding specialist with activities in key markets with top accounts served by Broekman Logistics alike: heavy lift and project cargo, chemical and pharma and industrial and construction machinery.
The team of seven freight forwarding specialists will be fully integrated in the Belgian organisation and start to operate under the Broekman Logistics flag as of December 21st, 2020
